Scholarship Information
The New England Animal Control/ Humane Academy is pleased to make available three full-tuition scholarships and one commuter scholarship in 2011.
The three scholarhips with housing are available through a generous grant from the ASPCA. The Dale Childs Scholarship is sponsored by the Animal Control Officers Association of New Hampshire.
Deadline June 1st
Two full tuition scholarships are open to any New England Animal Control Officer or Humane Shelter Employee with financial need.
The Fred Mattox Memorial Scholarship dedicated to Fred Mattox, much-loved and respected Animal Control Officer from York, ME who passed away in 2003. The full-tuition scholarship gives first preference to an Animal Control Officer from Maine, but anyone is welcome to apply.
The Dale Childs Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to Dale Childs, a police and animal control officer from Hampstead, NH who recently lost her battle to cancer. The Scholarship is sponsored by the Animal Control Officers Association of New Hamphire.
